Our Parish Feast: A Celebration of Faith, Family, & Love
As we celebrate the Feast of our patron saints, Mary and Joseph, we gather with deep gratitude and joy as one parish family. This year, our celebration beautifully coincides with the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity, reminding us that the heart of our faith is communion, love, and relationship — the very life of the Trinity itself.
The Holy Trinity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — reveals a God who is not isolated, but a perfect community of love. In today’s Gospel, we hear the timeless words: “God so loved the world that He gave His only Son” (John 3:16). God’s love is self-giving, faithful, merciful, and life-giving. That same love is meant to be reflected in our parish family, and you embody it in countless ways. I am deeply grateful.
A parish feast is more than an event; it is a celebration of people — the blessing of belonging to one another in faith. It is a moment to thank God for the gift of our community: every family, every volunteer, every ministry, every prayer offered, and every act of kindness that strengthens our life together. Each person is a blessing, and together we become a living witness of God’s presence.
Mary and Joseph, our beloved patrons, are beautiful models of faith, unity, and trust in God. Their home in Nazareth was marked by simplicity, sacrifice, prayer, and mutual care. As our spiritual companions, they invite us to continue building a parish family rooted in love, hospitality, prayer, understanding, and shared responsibility.
St. Paul reminds us in the second reading: “Encourage one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you” (2 Cor. 13:11). These words capture the spirit of both our parish feast and the Feast of the Holy Trinity. We are called not only to worship together, but to walk together, support one another, and grow as disciples of Christ.
May this celebration renew in all of us a deeper sense of belonging, gratitude, and commitment to our parish family. May the love of the Holy Trinity inspire and strengthen us, and may Mary and Joseph intercede for us always.
Happy Feast Day to our entire parish family!
Blessings of peace and joy always.
Fr. Joe
