Journeying Through Grief is a simple, powerful way to care for people who are grieving. Journeying through Grief is a set of four books sent during four crucial times during the first year after the loss of a loved one. They are written in a warm, caring style, with easy-to-read chapters. The books help the reader through the grief journey, sharing helpful insights about grief, biblical truths, and stories of comfort and reassurances.

The members of the Funeral Dinner Committees work with the deceased's family to determine the date of the dinner, possible number of dinner attendees, and try to answer their questions concerning the meal. The group leaders make arrangements for the purchase of the meat to be served for the dinner. Other responsibilities of the committee volunteers are preparation and serving of the meal' dining hall set-up & clean up. Church members and friends of the deceased usually bring in dishes to share for the meal.
